Well boys congratulations to both Ireland and France..........they both hung on and came back at the end of the match where it matters to win!!!
I was really hoping that Wales (who played as well as they had in any games of the tournament) could keep the French out ........just that little bit of michelak magic that outdid them at the end....so well palyed to them
England made a much beter showing of it this match and there were some good signs for them to take away..........they need to be brave with some new selections......agree with Dawsey about the centre pairing.......and I do still have my doubts about Goode at 10............not to mention Correy's captaincy..........I'd get big Larry D out there again as captain and get a bit of passion back into them.........he can inspire and lead........Correy is just a reasonably good player
Yes faulty.........I will cop a bit of egg on the face for my predictions but I never expected England to self destruct before the tournament and particularly after that great first up win against Wales.
As for Ireland......well thay played about to form.........not great at all......they just the boring staus quo safe game that they always play............whilst all else around them self destructed........
France unpredictable as usual.............and played some good and some crap rugby.........still unconvinced that they could beat any of the Tri-nations teams at present............possibly about half of the Super 14 teams would give them a good shaking too!!............is this too controversial from a "Southern Man"?????...........55555
Scotland improved incredibly and showed some good signs for the future..........let's face it they are never gonna be world cup winners but can easily upset a potential winner or 2 along the way!!!
Italy improved markedly in defence particulary and probably share my most improved award with Scotland......
