A good tip for going in September would be to take an umberella and a warm coat. Its the wettest and coldest time of the year.

You might get a lot of rain, but it should only last a short time in the day. It will still be hot.

The best tips would be just go and do what feels right for you. If you want to party all the time, its possible.
If you want to see a lot of the country, thats easy too.
It depends on how you want to spend your days.

September is generally a quieter time of the year, but this shouldnt stop you having a great time. Call in to Mai Thai Bar and see Nicke and anyone else that is around. Its good to meet up with people who have been before/know the score. You will learn more in 10 minutes by hooking up with a couple of guys and having a few drinks, than you will on your own in two weeks.
