7)old passports
8)as many photographs of you together over long periods of time.
9)details of health insurance i.e bupa incase she falls sick in your country(go to bupa or who web site and print of details of policy that will be brought should she be granted a visa)
10)proof of your finance to keep her
11)proof of your employment
12)any divorce/death/birth certificates (translated from Thai to English or English to Thai)
what she will need is the same as above but also her
Blue house book
Thai id card
passport
proof of reason to return to Thailand (land ,house, car ,live stock, buisness. just because she has any children does not mean a reason to return ,remember Thais will leave kids with the grandparents while they go to work)
Bank details
.remember to tell the truth ,the ECO`s hear the same lies day in day out so they know when your bullsh1tting,the rules are the same for all applicants from B.G to normal well to do girls from good families,so dont be put of.
turn up at the Embassy as early as you can in the morning as some (i know the British embassy)only deal with so many applications a day.
it is also worth finding out how much the fee is and going to a Thai bank and have a bankers cheque made out in your respected embassy name.
golden rule the more details you can give the better you chance.
best of luck.
picture attached is the start of the que at the British embassy at 05.45am so that gives you an idea of how early you have to wake up.
oh and this picture was taken less than two weeks ago.
