You can go Bangkok via Frankfurt to Oslo. In Frankfurt you get the stamp on your visa (Schengen) and you leave transit area. You can stay in Terminal B. Thai Air arrives at Terminal B and Lufthansa/SAS to Oslo leaves at Terminal B too. She do not need to fillout any papers in Frankfurt, just show her passport.
One case was a flight from ChiangMai via Bangkok, Frankfurt to Oslo. The baggage was dispatched directly from ChiangMai to Oslo. But she had to get the boarding pass from Frankfurt to Oslo in Frankfurt at Lufthansa.
We checked in together in ChiangMai. She had to fill out a paper there, which looked like the tourist visa paper, i had to do when i arrived in Thailand. Nobody wanted to see any return ticket. She had her eTicket with her. People at ChiangMai airport were very polite. Some boy at checkin helped her to fillout the visa form at the checkin gate. He asked her if she could buy cigarettes for him at duty free, and gave her money for it.
