Watch out for the expedited visa scam. It cost my buddy 500 baht because they were intentionally taking their time. After crossing, he took a shared-taxi from the town to Siem Reap. Lots of scammers in the border town so watch out.

Costs
Bus to Aranyaprathet - 200 baht
Tuk-tuk to Poipet border crossing - 70-10 baht
Visa cross Cambodia - $20 Usd
Taxi to Siem Reap - 1800 baht. Find someone else to share this taxi with you

He took his route from the Tales of Asia website. Here is the link:

I am planning on doing this same trip in November.

Hi Lucky7, I 'm going to do this option on the way from BKK to Siem Reap and back to Thailand I go with PMT to Utapao(pattaya). This way I don't have to travel the same way twice but still have the adventure of the overland trip. Thanks a lot for the information.

Cheers,

Raval
