Would be the Lake District (Cumbria). This is Aira Force waterfall, which is a place I've never been before.

We had to trek a mile or so from the car and when we got to the wet bit I found that we had left the camera \ tripod connector in the car. I really wanted to try some longer exposure times here but it was not to be.

I'm not sure if these pics manage to convey the mood of the place or not. The lake District is stunning, but in my defence it was a little overcast today with the sun coming through from time to time, tricky light.

Any thoughts on framing and cropping would be welcome.
