I know you're coming from UK, but from OZ, flights to Singapore are very cheap right now. We are coming over Emirates to Singers, then Tiger Air to Phuket. Tiger flights are cheap and can be booked via their site. $A1000 each to Singers, $A70 to Phuket....including all the taxes..we used
