Hmm a TEFL along with being a native english speaker would be enough i suppose to get a teaching job in LOS? But english teachers doesnt rate very high in Thailand thats for sure.

I know there is alot of volunteer work to be done tho, but unfortunatly i think that's mostly from US. If you are a US citizen there are a few ways that i know of tho for teaching english. You are getting food for the day and experience for a lifetime. BUT you will be working in rural Thailand. This also requires a 3 months very intensive course in Thai language and if you fail, all you get is a ticket back to US again.
