I think it depends on where on Phuket you want to stay.
In Patong it's not easy to find Internet with a real good connection, best one I know of is
Liontchai.
If you stay away from Patong you will find better connection, f.ex. in Chalong, in
Big A Resort for example they have good WiFi connection available.
