I have seen adult ones that are a little less than double that size.. A lot smaller than a gibbon.. Theres a farang (italian) long term resident that rides around Nanai with 2 one adult and one a little older than this..

I would be real leary of having a male one though.. Reckon the testosterone and horn would be a problem.. Really its one of those things I would love to do but my fear of commitment or responsibility wil stop me I am sure..

As to disease I have no idea.. Surely you would have a vet give him shots and things.. Not convinced that they are plague carriers, I know people ho kept rats as pets and ferrets and other horrible critters..

I know it sounds really soft but he was so much fun.. You could see his little mind working, you could see his curiosity with new things (budgies), like just bagloads of personality.. The flip side of that would be he would need major major attention, it would be really unfair to have an animal like that that you didnt just keep as your constant companion.
