Theres an ear nose and throat specialist Doc in Phuket town..
My brother surfs and due to bad UK water has had mopre than his fair share of ear infections.. Got one here and got some drops from the pharmacy.. as in a lot of pain and blood on his pillow in the mornings.. Got him to a specialist who said that the drops were doing no good at all and he had a high chance of permanant hearing loss in that ear (or partial).. Brother freaked for a bit but made a total recovery..
Only time the pharmacy has ever not been 100% though.. Usually superb.
