When i was in Tiger last December a fight broke out between different groups of tourists. A group of young lads were dancing but very drunk! When of them fell over into another group of men sitting at a table, knocking their bottle of vodka over. So of course all hell broke lose................... I was about to pull them apart when the local bouncers turned up (lucky I think!) and tried to sort it out! Of course the young lads only had a few hundred baht left between them. But the other group tried to claim alot of other "smashed bottles" as theirs! In the end I got too drunk to care.

But thats not the only trouble I've seen in Tiger! I've seen a Farang 'bottle' another, then leg it in to a crowd inside Tiger. Then there was the incident when a tg got violent because a friend wouldn't pay her for talking to him while we were sitting in there! There have also been a few hand-bag incidents between groups of Thai and Thai, Farang and farang, and mixed.

I suppose some of this trouble, could be down to the couple of years I spent as a bouncer myself. So I sometimes i can see something about to happen, through bodylanguage or the way people are 'acting'. I think alot of people wouldn't see them as generally they last 10 - 20 sec's, before most fizzle out.

I stress that these incidents are spread out over a number of years now! If i went out on a Saturday here in England, I would see 20 times this amount in one night!
