Smoking in hotel rooms.

On my last trip I booked a suite room in a guesthouse....separate bedroom, full kitchen, lounge etc...very nice. I only stayed there for approx 6 hrs as the placed absolutely wreaked of cigarette smoke. The cleaners aired it out before I moved in & then I opened up all of the doors and had the air cons and fans going and sprayed with air freshener. I then went out for dinner & when i came back & opened the door the odour was unacceptable so I told the management I couldn't stay there & they moved me to a small room that was available & they were very appologetic.
This really annoyed me as I couldn't stay where I had booked & the guesthouse lost money due to the previous "guest" having stayed there for 28 days & at a guess smoked 2 packs a day inside the room with door & windows closed.
In case anyone is thinking "ex smoker" yes I am but def not an antismoker if anyone wants to smoke no problem with me (I still remember that when I smoked & I wanted a smoke "I f@cken well wanted one") But for f@ck sake open a door or window in your hotel room.
