As I'm an English fan (well I'm English, not sure I am actually a fan, if they were a league team I would have abandoned them years ago), I've learnt to support them by never ever expecting them to win anything (so far, so good), that way it can only get better.
Oh, and always bet on the opposing team that way if England lose, you at least get some money back, if England win you don't mind losing your stake.
England in the WC, 2nd round possibly Quarters depending on who they play - they could be playing Germany in the 2nd round
Cannot see much further than that to be honest.
As far the Aussies go, have fun as it's a long way home.
