Well, I can't really disagree on that point, since there are few that would dispute that the sweet swing of Mr. Ted was the greatest ever, and if not for his stint as a fighter pilot in WWII, his accomplishments in the record books would be more impressive than they are. IIRC, he was the last to hit over .400.

However, the fact that Bonds can even be compared with Williams is a great pean to Barry!!

BTW, when I said Bonds was the greatest, I was wondering if anyone on this board was knowledgable enought to call me on that one? I tip my cap to you, Paul!!
