The rooms at C&N are pretty old if you want somewhere groovy...try Stoney Monday Oasis Hotel www.stoneymondayhotels.com you pay about 650 baht online for August and it is a new hotel with new rooms, beds, PILLOWS, bathrooms etc. AND the staff are great.
