Sorry to contradict , but urine is definately not advised for jelly fish stings , best thing to use is acetic acid (better known as white vinegar).

This will neutralise any nematocyts (stings) that have not yet discharged into the skin. Using water , alcohol or urine will encourage the release of venom.
