Depending on seasons you can sometimes get out of HKT to sing and back same day on a combo of Tiger air and Jetstar asia for cheap.. Obviously multiple flights per day with Silk air but that gets up around 7500.. Tiger and Jetstar are the 2 budget lines for Sing..
Air Asia has the cheap KL route..
Why someone doesnt lay on a once a week visa run to Langkawai.. I am sure once it was known it would be mobbed..
