I personally like Soi 33, depends how long you're there for. If you in and out and looking for some action you get slammed with full ticket for the girls. Which is around 3000 long time if your lucky. On the whole, these girls I find are far better looking than what you can find in Soi Cowboy.
Soi cowboy is no strings attatched, the girls in 33 will linger about a bit longer, call a bit more often, all the regular bullsh1t associated with paying for play, these girls are truely after the dream of finding a farang that will take them out of scene for good. Generally speaking of course.
The prices for beers/girls/food on 33 commands a certain type of farang to go there. A person not happy paying 3000 long time would have no interest in this place, the more executive guy who doesn't mind spending a bit more will go to 33. A lot of farangs who work in Bangkok actually regular 33, hence why they have been able to maintain a steady level of service.
Check out a bar called Lookie Lookie on 33/4 Wall St, pretty good place with pool table, and the old classics. Girls in there are above average looks wise, if your going to these places it's far more economical to get a bottle of burbon/whiskey which sets you back 900 baht this comes with unlimted soda/ice/coke, works out better and lady drinks come to 100 baht.
The place is less busier than your cowboy's or nana's and the level of service is a bit more personal.
The Office is a good joint (really good steak here), Van Gough's on this a good place if you want to see some really well dressed ladies.
And if your not interested paying girls or bf them which 1500 is the norm in 33, just wait untill the bar closes offer to take the girl out for some late dinner or another club, 8/10 times she will say yes and you will be coping some action here. A guy I knew took us out to dinner with 10 girls. we were the only two guys, I ended up taking 3 ladies back to their place and drinking some more, I got too plastered that I passed out
Ohh the memories of 33, i'll be back fooo shooo.
