Admitedly I have only done the soi twice.. First time we trawled around.. Went in one bar with all white decor and all white dressed women in evening gowns etc.. Well apart from the fact thay hadnt set the makup gun to ***** and the clothes covered a bit more its the same issan workforce as far as I could see, just dusted off and with the rice paddy a little bit less visible.
We also had girls telling us 'just wait an hour and we close no BF' which I guess is more common with such high BF's and guys trying to avoid them.. When we declined and moved on to another bar they were pushing numbers on us for 'after the bar' so again its not the costs.
More that it was a cocktail dress faux sophisicated scene that just looked so fake as to seem silly to me.. We found a 2 floor pool hall type place in a side soi off 33 that had some fun girls and was ok.. Personally I just find that putting a farm girl in a cocktail dress and pearls doesnt change much, it was still the hello, where you from, what your name, you like me, type conversations..
Just not my scene.. Each to thier own.

Have to agree with you Sef. 33 is not as laid back. Coupled with the high prices (for me thats more of an issue) I just did not think it was worth it. Its the same bird in a evening gown. It was ok the last time I went, but hey I was not buying.
My favorite has got to be Cowboy with NEP coming in second. I dont make it out to PP to often. Will have to make more of an effort on that one.
