Theres a new itialian place on beach Rd just north of saxophone and Rock city.. Has awful ambience (bright lights, not romantic, etc) but serves fresh made daily pasta and great thin crust tasty pizzas.. Not great bread wedges, not loads of naff toppings, just simple crispy tasty ones with the bases perfectly crunchy / slightly blackened.
Shame they dont deliver but do takeaway.
Try the salmon / cream sauce tagiatelli.. Also tomato and mozerella (Islata capresi ??)... Currently my fave Italian joint, GF likes pasta now so I get the bpai gin sa-pa-get-ti line a fair bit
