For me, I like the bars for drinking and talking, the go-go’s for ogling and discos for drinking, ogling and pick-ups.
Problem with bars and pick-ups IMO is that you first have to locate the right bar. Of course you can scope the places out, but even if you spot a nice one (girl that is) there is no guarantee she will go with you, even if she virtually attacked you and dragged you in just moments earlier. I’ve even seen bidding wars over one specific lady between 4 farangs.
Then there’s the lady drinks and the barfine.
The discos on the other hand have a much wider selection, and buying drinks is not always required. Striking out may happed, but then you can just move on. Much like the discos back home. Albeit with a significantly higher success rate, mind you.
