im really not trying to rile you guys up but ive watched every game and it really amazes at how easily these guys will come out of a game, a world cup quarter-final game at that,so easily!!
again, i am really not trying to start an american football vf futbol, its just my observation from someone whos come to appreciate the sport in the last year

I think Beckham came off with an injured ankle. You could see he was in pain when he tried to play on and pass the ball. For such an important game,no good being the big hero and staying on the field when there is another fresh guy waiting to take his place.
It wouldn't happen in Rugby, they want to play on, whatever.
