I'm taking one week vacation in August (second week) and I want to discover new parts of LAOS. I was Thinking going to Ko Samui or Ko Chang or any place else (excepted Pattaya). I'm not really seeking for Hot nightlife. Any suggestion ? Thanks for your expertise and advices in this matter.

Yeh go north and north east, follow the mekon or something like that, see the real LOS
Phuket, Ko Samui etc have no resemblence to the real LOS and Thai peoples life. Most tourists go to LOS, come back and think wow Thailand is wonderful and of course it is!! but they stay in a fabricated cocoon and think 'thats LOS', its not...........
