Although it has tightened up a heck of a lot lately there are still a lot of seasonal oportunities for Diving instructors who are multilingual.
A young friend of my sons who is bilingual in Japanese has just scored a job for one of the Major Hotels on the island as a dive instructor. He does have to get a work permit for this which is being all arranged above board by the Hotel.
I know there are still quite a few dive companies around who hire temporary dive masters, but again as I said the industry has tightened up considerably and there is not as much "under the table" hiring as there used to be.
