If I were you I would call up the CMR/Police and ask them about this because chances are that she would have to pass the Danish tests to "convert" her card and there is no chance in hell that a Thai (or any other foreign national) is going to pass the Danish tests (especially the theory) without going to driving school here. You would probably just end up with paying for 2 licenses - 1 in Thailand and 1 in Denmark.

Well based on all the input from this thread I think you're right. I better wait until she's here (permanent) and then get her a "real" drivers license. Then she'll learn everything from the bottom, and maybe we are even as lucky as being able to find a driving instruction who is Thai! Although I think it will be a huge challange just to pass the theory test! A good thing that many of the driving schools have like fixed prices for the whole thing!
