I used 6m as elevation, but now when I think about it is is probably closer to 10 or so. That value is used to adjust the barometer.
I had this idea for a long time but didnt find the solution to have a dialup modem online 24hrs to upload data appealing. But now whith ADSL and when I remembered my original idea I ordered one. But the one I had in mind in the past was a very basic one, not like the Vantage I bought now. Its a wireless solution and very easy to install without cabling and such.
To be able to upload to internet for live stats was my main criteria, as I think it can be useful for a lot of people and also give some interesting stats. Will also share my data with Weather Underground if I can get that working, as I read some people had problems.

Nicke think your elavation would not be mean sea level,but probaly around 1-2m above sea level if you were MSL would be under water half the day !!!
So this weather station does it compute data which you input,or uses the net ?
