I see that applications for UK visas are now being handled at a new address and not the british embassy/consulate.Does this mean the service has been contracted out to a private company?and will this mean there will be a more lenient attitude to the processing of applications?

One thing I can see is that if it is a private company acting on behalf of embassy is that there could possibly be an opportunity for these companies offering visas,immigration lawyers to smooth the wheels during the application preocess!!
