Look at the flight schedules above...MAS already run twice daily except wednesdays...and AirAsia have 2 a day too.
From what I've heard you can't go to the Thai Consul and get a visa the same day though...you have to go, fill in forms and leave passport and collect the next day. I've not bothered up to now to get a 60day because I like the trips to KL every month or so...have the free 30day entry on coming back which I sometimes extend by 10 days at immigration here. I treat it as a mini holiday and have 2 or 3 days at Genting. You should try it...you might win in the casino and your trip is paid for and come back with more money than you went with
