Hi M&M. I saw a few of your posts on here before. Are you both Australian? Are you retiring in Phuket or working? I can't teach Thai, I'm still learning it. I go once a week for classes. There are lots of Thai language teachers in Phuket, as in BKK. One thing that's funny is alot of the westerners who have lived in Phuket for a long time speak in the southern dialect. When they come to BKK, people are surprised by this.
My husband is from Chalong Bay, but we're looking at Thalang in the northern part. It's really green, scenic and peaceful. I'm going to Phuket next weekend with the purpose of us starting to look at a place to live. He's living at his parents' house now, which is common for Thais. We've agreed on living in our own place when I move there.
I need to close this now becasue I have to work in an hour with a private student. Please ask any questions, I'm happy to answer them.
