ive stayed in both hotels
i have personal reasons for not likeing bathai as they were rude to my thai gf that was a registered guest. i also thought the service was not that good
plus-the pools, just huge
i did like kata palms but i think banthai is better suited for you guys.
your children are nto so young so i think they would get bored with kata and may enjoy the nightlife of patong
your family will be fine at banthai
