AROUND the middle of april is the thai new year holiday SONGKRAN when phuket and pattaya are busy thus the hotel prices can be higher
but if you wait until the end of the month beginning of may hotel prices and flight prices come down .
The weather at that time of year is good also should still be quite a few BMS around at that time of year.
i personally am going late march early april and getting away before songkran.
i have made 25 visits to thailand and 18 of them have been in the months march through may so it must be my fav period of the year !
