Just want to say hi and thank everyone for the great info. I'm from Los Angeles and I went on an Asia tour and ended up in Bangkok for a few days a couple years ago and only stayed on Kao San Road.
I wish I never read Lonely Planet and saw this site. I can't believe I didn't get one soapy, visit Angel's Disco or Eden's.
Well, my buddy and I are going to do it proper in September
My only regret is we won't be in Phuket so we won't be visiting the MTB. nex time for sure!
anyway, going to stay 3 nights at majestic suites, 6 nights in Areca lodge in pattaya and then back to bangkok for 3 nights at the president solitaire.
3 weeks to go. i can't wait.
