Hello to all from Afghanistan!

I am on my way to Phuket and soon will be drinking cold beers! I am from the U.S. and working in Afghanistan have been to Pattaya once and loved it some friends told me I need to go to Phuket so I am on my way.
Anyone have Info on the White Sands Resortel? I understand this is a new place maybe and not many people know. I have searched the board with no luck. Also how is the diving this time of year near Phuket and what about the fishing? hopefully it wont be raining the whole time I am there but didnt have a choice on the time of year. Any info will be greatly appreciated and a beer or 2 definately coming your way at the Mai Thai Bar!
