Queen Victoria Inn/Pattaya location questions

Hi all,
I am heading to Thailand for the first time as a tourist this coming November. I decided it might be best to head strait to Pattaya. And now for the questions. I saw some decent reviews for the Queen Victoria Inn on a review site. But the reviews are pretty spaced out over the last 5 years. It has great prices at about 700 baht and looks nice. But here's the thing its on Soi 6 and after looking at maps it seems a bit far from Walking Street(But pretty close to the Sabai massage parlors and some beerbars ). I'm guessing it’s not going to be a fun walk at 30+ minutes. How is the transportation there? I'm sure I can get a baht bus to walking street and such, but how do I get back with guest? Do the girls mind taking the baht bus back (or can they), how late do they operate btw. Are there more conventional taxis and of course are they affordable? I’m sure if I was more sappy I would try and pass the walk back off as a romantic stroll down the beech but I would end up sweating way too much and for the wrong reason. I like the looks of the Queen Victoria, but it's location has me worried. I found another place that is closer but their website is down or non-existent Sunview Place. Any help/advice would be much appreciated guys.

Thanks in advance
