Kings Birthday Holiday - What operates, what doesn't?
Hi guys
I am planning a trip to LOS & Vietnam around the time of the Kings Birthday Holiday (December 5). Just trying to get an idea of which services operate on the Holiday.
The Airport operates 24-7 I imagine? And the same with hotel staff?
Are most taxi drivers working on that day? What about buses, and minibus operators? Could I get easily get from Pattaya to the airport on that day?
What about the night before? Will everything close at midnight? And will a BG want to stay with me on December 5 - or is this a day to spend in a more solemn way for the Thais. I want to do the right thing by their custom....
Or should I just try to plan it so I am in Vietnam on that day?
Sorry about so many questions....Any info would be great
