Don't know anything about "circle of death" but some of the veterans on here might/should know.
There is a thread on this forum for hotels, have a look at that. For your budget you can get quite a nice hotel room. So do some searching on the internet as well
Thailand hotels, Hong Kong hotels, Singapore hotels, Japan hotels, Australia hotels You can always email the hotel to check if they are guest friendly or not. Just email then and keep their reply to avoid any complications when you arrive.
