Steve, how can you say that? Life of Brian is without doubt my fav funny movie ever! So many classic moments...just try and watch the stoning scene without laughing.

I find the trouble with funny and movies in general that you like is that you remember so much about them so need years in between viewings, and there is not really enough good ones to fill the gaps. i don't like most of the recent hollywood stuff, there's only so many college type films I can sit through (american pie, road trip etc..). Though I do like a few such as Old Skool, Meet the Parents...but they just end up being overdone like Scary Movie 4, American Pie 3 and on... they just aren't different enough from each other to be funny.

I tend to go back to older films when I want a funny movie, love Woody Allens stuff - have most on dvd, smart as hell but loads of slaptick to go with it

Thinking about it I think I'd rather watch a laurel and hardy or chaplin film than the latest ben stiller.
