Some guys just seem to be so far ahead of thier peers that they don't need all the bluster and carrying on that seems to follow professional atheletes. Tiger strikes me as the type of guy you could run into in a bar or restaurant and and have a drink and a laugh with. It's also what makes him so marketable to sponsors.

agreed Dave.......for me it is just as important to be a sporting man as a sportsman.........hence my disregard for Schumacher......he could win a hundred more GPs and I wouldn't rate him.....not compared to the guys who have come before him....so many greats but look at Fangio, Stirling Moss, Jack Brabham, Jackie Stewart, Alain Prost + Aatron Senna...........shoot you couldn't get a much better bunch of sporting men than that.......unless you start including golfers......
