Ali was a great man and a great fighter but I'm afraid to say I think Tyson in his day would have taken him.

From 1985 - 1990 when he lost to Buster Douglas, Tyson fought and won 37 bouts. Total ROUNDS fought - 126 thats an average of 3.4 rounds per fight.
17 of the 37 were over in the first round
and 27 didn't go 4 rounds.

I'm sorry, but Tyson could take Ali's best punch, shake his head and come back for more.

There are still theories out there that the Buster Douglas fight was lost because the box office was dropping for Tyson's fights because they were no contest. I don't put alot of stock into them, but who here doesn't think Don King is capable of throwing a fight??
