But for Mdt, i think the other members have given you some good advice. I think its definitely a good idea to stay here for 6 months as a "test run" sort to speak and see how things go. As its been said, highly dependant on the individual. Some people live here and party everyday or at the very least are on a bar stool every day for a couple of hours. I have to say when i first moved here i was out A LOT, but after being here for a year, i only go out and get sh*t faced maybe once a month or so, but at the same time i'm still working everyday so i cannot comment on retiring here but as Nicke has suggested a hobby will do you a lot of good, otherwise IMHO as great as Phuket is, it will get old after a while.
