My daughter used our land line to call her (local)boyfriends mobile.
Cost me around £1 for 5mins.
Calling abroad is worse. To another landline its around 75p a minute. I have been with ntl a fair while and have never heard of 2p a minute calls,unless thats the local calls at weekends.
My advise is to ring customer services, or email them,
ntlworld.com homepage and ask specifically for the rate you will be charged to call a Thai mobile number
