Hi Steve
A lot of companies in the UK will not accept a sickie issued from an overseas GP as they cannot claim back from dss using these.
What to do is make an appointment with your uk gp a few days before you are due back explaining your "symptoms" and they will rattify your thai sickie , giving you a UK legal note in it's place. hope this helps.
