Given the fact that a kilo is 2.2 LBS, then how can 1 lb = 2.64 lbs(2.2 x 1.2).

Are you saying that a English lb is different from an American pound, just as it is different from an American dollar?

If so, then how many pounds are in a pound? And does the same hold true for ounces?
