I have been learning thai for about 7 mont now....
We (my friend and i) meet a guy in a bar in Norway, and he told us about this thai guy that have private lessons...
And now this thay guy is our private teacher. He works as an translater here in Norway, so he is very good as a teacher.
He buy school books for us in thai and prepare the lessons good every time. (2 hours every week). He also give us homeworks for next lesson.
In the last two month we have been working with the thai alphabet...(konsonants and wovels).
He say that the best way to make the right sound of the word is to learn the alphabet first. Its important to know about the "mai eek" "mai too" "mai tree".........etc..
That can make the total different meaning of the same word.
For u Norwegian guys out there....if u want to learn thai the right way... and not only from the BG`s... (sleeping dictionary), then tell me.... iwil give u the number to my thai teacher.
He lives in Oslo, så if u live up noth i think it wil be some difficulties.
12 days and counting......
