Doing the numbers on the villa I live in the owner gets about a 3% rental yield on his property, thats before maintenance.. Plus even though its only a few years old its already falling apart and sliding down the hill and subsiding..
I have heard as many people having lost thier life savings through property as I have through losing it to Thai girls.. The rule of law will almost never help you, and here is no recourse for laws broken against you..
