Yes - I now stay there every time. Have probably tried 10 others in Patong.
Pros: Good location, nice rooms, clean, nice pool, good view of sea if you get a room on the 4th floor, friendly staff
Cons: No direct dial phone from the room - have go through the operator which means you can't dial into mail if that's your thing
Girl friendly? Not 100% sure, I always pre-book but at 3am the security guard is always asleep so no problem then and I think a smile & a wave late at night would probably do the trick.
Ask for a room on the 4th (top floor) which has a big shared balcony area if you want some privacy or get one right by the pool.
