Having Just returned from pattaya i am amazed that secrets bar soi 14 could be visited by any monger.i found the girls to be very ordinary in a bar that is not user friendly.my view is its the most aver rated bar in pattaya.you couldnt compare it to the likes of Peppermint,happy,living dolls,dollhouse or many other bars in the walking street area.
we did look at the rooms to stay but decided on the stereo bar on soi LK and baukow corner as they were 300 cheaper and better rooms.its has new rooms at secrets but they wanted 950 per night which is a absolute joke when you compare them to other places in town.they even wanted 450 baht for a room 2 hours short time.i dont mind paying a little extra but this place just rips people off bigtime.
we were forever hounded by the girls for ladies drinks and when we did get 4 girls a drink they run off to dance after gulping them down.i dont mind buying ladies drinks if the girl sits and talks with you but these just took off in 2 minutes.all the seating is set out so the bar is featured and not the dancers who in some places you have to turn 180 degrees to see.
4 of us went there for breakfast the next day and nearly fell over when we got the bill for over 1300 baht
seeing we had extra coffees it was more expensive than the huge price they are asking which is 290 baht for the big(not so big)breakfast.smallest coffee cup i have ever seen in any restaurant.but it gets better as when we were going to have a drink before we started to eat WATER was 60 baht as one of my friends found out.
They have a automated billing system but it didnt stop them putting 2 drinks on we never had.some fat manager(ben EX FLB) came over when we complained he tried to cover it up
but we stood our ground and asked for the police to be called if they were not prepared to take the 2 drinks off we never had.funny how all of a sudden he said sorry my staff have confirmed they made a error.
Saw jem(sp) ex mamasan at FLB in club bouche she said that secrets is not much good as she worked there for a little while before moving to CB because they under paid her 1st salary.
i must say i had a better time in the FLB bar than secrets bar.they now have a new manager ricky who was managing anglewitch in bangers before so he will get the place humming soon.
