Yep, definitely not girl friendly, I know from experience. However, it's a nice hotel and I had some great nights sitting at their Octagon Bar which is the outside bar.
Another hotel fairly close by which
might be girl-friendly, is the Jomtien Garden hotel but it would be best to check it out first, i.e. email them and ask.
