Also I wasn't very impressed with their service. I did request a double bedroom, only to find out (after checking in) that I had been given a twin bedroom. After I complained, it took them 2 hours to put the two beds together and turn it into a double bedroom.
On top of this, I realised that their penny-pinching has reached an unprecedented level. If that was the only issue I had with them, I wouldn't be too bothered about it, however - if you take the joiner fee and the poor service into the equation - it probably is just the last straw for me.
Shame because I had some good times there.

I had problems too i booked a double room but only put in 1 person on the latestays website and they wanted 300bht for a guest a night but my friend had booked had put 2 people down so no charge. I said why should i pay more and told them i would not pay the charge but they waved it .
This only happened at the end of September
